Green Tarr Solutions (“we”, “us”) is the Data Controller. We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. This notice explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights.

Personal data we collect

  • Identification & contact: name, email address, phone number.
  • Enquiry content: the message you send us and any information you include.
  • Scheduling: information needed to arrange a call or demo (if you request it).
  • Technical basics: essential logs from our hosting to operate the site securely (no advertising or analytics cookies).

Purposes & lawful bases

  • Responding to enquiries — we use your details to reply, schedule a call and maintain a record of our communications. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (running our business and responding to incoming requests).
  • Marketing emails (optional) — if you tick the marketing checkbox on our contact form, we will send you occasional updates and offers. Lawful basis: consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in every email or contacting us.
  • Legal & security — to comply with law, exercise or defend legal claims, and keep systems secure. Lawful basis: legal obligation and/or legitimate interests.

Retention

  • Enquiry records: kept for up to 12 months unless we are working together or must keep them longer to comply with law.
  • Marketing consent records: kept for as long as you are subscribed and for up to 24 months after you unsubscribe to demonstrate compliance.
  • System logs: short operational periods unless needed for security or investigation.

Sharing & locations

  • Internal access is limited to staff who need it.
  • Processors (service providers) for hosting, email and scheduling may process data on our instructions. We require confidentiality and appropriate security. We do not intentionally transfer your data outside the UK/EEA.

Your rights

  • Right to access, rectify, erase and restrict processing.
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to data portability (where applicable).
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time for marketing, without affecting lawfulness before withdrawal.

How to exercise your rights

Email contact@greentarr.com and we will respond within one month. If we have doubts about identity we may request verification to protect your data.

Complaints & dissatisfaction

If you are dissatisfied with how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at contact@greentarr.com and we will aim to resolve your complaint within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/concerns.

Optional alternative dispute resolution: If a dispute remains unresolved after our internal process, both parties may agree to use a recognised UK mediation provider before commencing court proceedings. This does not limit your statutory rights to complain to the ICO at any time.

Cookies & third-party embeds

  • No advertising or analytics cookies are used.
  • Third-party scheduling tools (e.g. Cal.com) may collect data under their own privacy policies when you interact with them.
